January 15, 2016

NEW WINDSOR – AJW has named Michael P. O’Neill as Vice President of its Miami division.

O’Neill is the former chief operating officer of Ampco, which was acquired by Fifty Door Partners, LLC in January.

“Mike brings unparalleled knowledge of Ampco’s operation and we are extremely fortunate to have him continuing on with us in this capacity,” said Chris Hansen, Founder and CEO of Fifty Door Partners, LLC.

Hansen said he has been very impressed with O’Neill’s leadership in Miami from their first contact, and all he’s done since to ensure a smooth transition.

“Mike has really proven himself to be a true leader,” he said.

As COO of Ampco, O’Neill was responsible for manufacturing, distribution, marketing, sales and procurement for all three divisions of the organization. It was under his leadership that the company downsized in 2008 and rebuilt itself to restore profitability.

O’Neill originally joined Ampco in 1987, starting as a project manager and then rising through the ranks to general manager and then executive vice president before taking the helm as chief operations officer in 2008.

O’Neill holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Florida International University as well as an AS in Management/Army ROTC from Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama. He served in the US Army Reserves from 1979 to 1981.
